History
Tennants GmbH is the result of amalgamating several smaller distribution businesses.
Arising from Tennants Distribution Limited’s (TDL’s) successful activities in the UK, principals requested TDL to expand its services to the continent.
TDL responded by creating companies in the Netherlands (Charles Tennant BV) and in France (Charles Tennant Sarl) whilst Hertfelder GmbH was acquired in 1997.
In 2001, a new strategy was developed and the companies combined into one distribution company. It was decided to concentrate the administrative tasks in Germany.
ISO 9000 certification was achieved in 2003 Tennants GmbH moved to a new office in 2005.
A responsive new distributor was created under the name Tennants GmbH, with a European focus and home office based technical marketing staff in several countries.
Tennants GmbH has become an efficient and well respected partner in the industry with a complement of skilled and experienced managers.
